Step 1: Measure Your Rod/Track Width

Measure the width of your curtain rod or track (finials excluded).

For a taller and wider look, we recommend installing your rod or track 6–10 inches above the window frame and extending it 6–15 inches beyond each side.

Step 2: Determine Your Order Length

Measure Top-to-Floor Distance

Measure the distance from the top of the curtain rod or the bottom of the track to the floor.

Choose Curtain Length Style

  • 1/2" Above Floor ( Order Length = Top to Floor Distance − 1/2")
  • Kiss floor (Order Length = Top to Floor Distance)
  • 2" Puddle (Order Length = Top to Floor Distance + 2")

Step 3: Determine Your Order Width

Your order width depends on your preferred header style and fullness.

Assuming the rod/track width is 100" and the default fullness is 2X, the recommended order widths for different header styles are as follows:
